Prime mover

Pierre-Henri Cousin, Lexicon Planet's founder and prime mover, has spent over two decades of his professional life in the field of lexicography and international dictionary publishing. One of the authors of the first edition of the widely acclaimed Collins-Robert French Dictionary, he then set up Lexus Ltd with two colleagues and later went on to lead Collins Bilingual Dictionaries as their Publisher. Headhunted by Larousse in 1989, he rebuilt its bilingual list and from 1995 was Director of Larousse's Language Reference Division. He set up Lexicon Planet in 1998 in order to pursue his vision of the necessary evolution of language publishing in a landscape transformed by the Internet and language software.
